2009 2010 History and origins

ISDI is born: the first digital business school in Spain, founded by Nacho de Pinedo and Javier Rodríguez Zapatero
The MIB is launched: the first master’s degree in internet business in the world.
Spain is digital: we open campuses in Madrid and Barcelona—and this is just the beginning
The digitalization of companies begins here: the first online program aimed at CEOs and in-company training for large companies and institutions arrives.
We create the ISDI Business Angels investment fund and developed our entrepreneurship methodology.
The first board of digital experts: The ISDI Scientific Advisory Board brings together over 40 global experts.

The Digital Barometer: we draft the first digitalization study of Spanish companies.
Rubbing shoulders with Harvard: we sign an agreement to teach seminars at Harvard.
Revolution for all: together with UNICEF, we create the ISDI Foundation to help digitize NGOs and disadvantaged groups.
ISDI Mexico is founded together with a group of Mexican digital experts.
IMPACT: the boost that startups need. Our accelerator launches, receiving €85 million in successive years to finance startups in Mobility, Robotics, AI, EdTech, and Connected Industry.
Generation: the 1st digitalization program for unemployed young people

Pioneers in Data Analytics and HR management: we launch the first MDA and the first DITEX program.
Rewarded for leading the way: ISDI receives the Madrid Emprende award and ISO 9001:2008 Certification.
Silicon Valley, birthplace of the digital revolution: we create the ISDI US campus in California and launch the MIB in Silicon Valley.
Accelerated business ideas: two new IMPACT programs distribute €11.5 million to European startups.
Recognition from industry leaders: we receive the 2017 National Marketing Award.
Democratizing digital education: the international GXMDB program and the Online MIB are launched.

Digital Master’s Degree for Young People: DMBA focused on employability for recent graduates.
Pioneers in Blockchain and AI: The first school in the world to certify diplomas with blockchain, and the first in Europe to try out Facial Recognition for AI students.
Partners with big tech companies: we become Educational Partners for Salesforce and Google in EMEA.
Expansion in Europe: we open our headquarters in Paris, creating ISDI CRM France.
ISDI and UNICEF united for equity: we create the first accelerator for social projects.
The DIGITALENT Group is founded—the educational group for the digital age—together with Magnum private equity. ISDE, ESERP, IEBS, Skylab Coders and DIGITECH become part of the DIGITALENT Group.

Breaking new ground: ISDI develops the 360º Value School for Accenture
and the Digital Business Program for EY.
Maximum possible QS Ranking: ranked among the best in Europe for academic excellence and high employability rate.
New Chairs: the Data Analytics NTT DATA and Legal Tech KMPG Chairs are launched.
We don’t teach AI, we work with AI: generative AI is introduced across all ISDI programs.

Actions speak louder than words

At ISDI, we act according to our values. We teach students how to reduce their business impact on the environment, and we practice what we teach. We establish fair and equal treatment with the people we work with, whether employees, students, suppliers or other stakeholders. On a social level, we contribute to reducing the digital divide for the most vulnerable groups by collaborating with NGOs and specialist foundations.
