Mientras que las suscripciones se convierten en tendencia y la publicidad se percibe como protagonista de un modelo roto que a\u00fan en los grandes casos, -que son los del duopolio Facebook-Google-, incentiva la proliferaci\u00f3n del contenido que sacrifica calidad en aras de la viralidad y los algoritmos, los n\u00fameros contin\u00faan demostrando que es posible construir <strong>modelos de negocios<\/strong> alrededor de ambas sin que exista por fuerza un camino correcto o incorrecto.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">Como muestra el reporte financiero del primer trimestre de <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCD_yA4IoudTQFLygL8pfFrA\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>YouTube<\/strong><\/a> en el 2021, la plataforma se encuentra en v\u00edas de alcanzar a <strong>Netflix<\/strong> en materia de ingresos en caso de mantener la inercia registrada. De acuerdo con el reporte de Alphabet, la empresa madre de <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCD_yA4IoudTQFLygL8pfFrA\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>YouTube<\/strong><\/a>, gener\u00f3 6.01 mil millones de d\u00f3lares durante los primeros tres meses del a\u00f1o, lo que representa un 46% del crecimiento con respecto al \u00faltimo trimestre del 2020.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">Para pronosticar ese empate que podr\u00eda terminar incluso con <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCD_yA4IoudTQFLygL8pfFrA\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>YouTube<\/strong><\/a> superando a Netflix ha de considerarse no s\u00f3lo el rendimiento positivo de la plataforma de video de <strong>Google<\/strong>, sino tambi\u00e9n la desaceleraci\u00f3n de Netflix una vez que su n\u00famero de suscriptores ha dejado de estar catapultado por los efectos de la pandemia, que creci\u00f3 un 24% en revenue y espera cerrar su segundo trimestre con apenas un 19% de incremento.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">De continuar as\u00ed, de acuerdo con proyecciones realizadas por CNBC, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCD_yA4IoudTQFLygL8pfFrA\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>YouTube<\/strong><\/a> concluir\u00eda el a\u00f1o con ventas publicitarias de entre 29 mil y 30 mil millones de d\u00f3lares, mientras que Netflix estar\u00eda cerrando el 2021 en 29 mil 700 millones de d\u00f3lares.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">Para dimensionar el poder de la gr\u00e1fica vale quedarnos con un dato: se calcula que los usuarios de <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCD_yA4IoudTQFLygL8pfFrA\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>YouTube<\/strong><\/a> consumen cerca de mil millones de horas de video al d\u00eda; los de Netflix solo 400 millones de horas.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/section><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Por Mauricio Cabrera M\u00e1s vale que se comprenda que no hay solo un camino para alcanzar el \u00e9xito en los negocios.
