De acuerdo a The Global Ecommerce Playbook presentado por Shopify Plus, las ventas por concepto de e-commerce alcanzar\u00e1n 4.8 billones de d\u00f3lares para el 2021, pero de esa cantidad un 84% se producir\u00e1 fuera de Norteam\u00e9rica y Europa.<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">El fracaso de multinacionales en determinados mercados es una constante, ya sea por falta de entendimiento del mercado, por conflictos con entidades de gobierno o por realizar esfuerzos insuficientes para dominar a los l\u00edderes de dichos mercados. Uno de los m\u00e1s sonados, tras tres a\u00f1os de esfuerzo sin resultados positivos, fue el de Uber, que termin\u00f3 vendiendo su negocio de ocho mil millones de d\u00f3lares a DiDi, al reconocer que ni siquiera la legalizaci\u00f3n del ride sharing lo llevar\u00eda a competir contra el 80% del mercado que se encontraba en manos de DiDi, a la que m\u00e1s tarde enfrentar\u00eda en otros mercados.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">El e-commerce en M\u00e9xico alcanz\u00f3 un valor de 405 mil millones de pesos<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">En la actualidad, aunque sin participaci\u00f3n directa en e-commerce, Tik Tok sigue esforz\u00e1ndose por superar la desconfianza que genera en el mercado estadounidense su origen chino, a grado tal que se plantea la contrataci\u00f3n de un CEO que radique en Estados Unidos para as\u00ed atenuar los efectos de los cuestionamientos respecto a su relaci\u00f3n con el gobierno chino.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><strong>China, el objeto del deseo mundial\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">Para las empresas estadounidenses no hay terreno m\u00e1s deseado que el de China. De acuerdo a Statista, los mercados con m\u00e1s penetraci\u00f3n en materia de compra de bienes y servicios online son: China y Corea del Sur con un 83%, el Reino Unido con un 82%, Alemania con un 81% e Indonesia con un 79%. Empatados en el sexto lugar se encuentran la India y Estados Unidos con un 77%.<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">Sin embargo, la oportunidad es inaccesible para la mayor\u00eda. Pese al tama\u00f1o del mercado en la segunda econom\u00eda m\u00e1s poderosa del mundo, en abril del 2019, tras ocho a\u00f1os de intentarlo como Amazon China y quince a\u00f1os bajo el nombre de Joyo.com, Amazon decidi\u00f3 cerrar su negocio dom\u00e9stico en dicho mercado para limitarse a ofrecer la posibilidad de adquirir productos importados desde sus sitios de Estados Unidos, Gran Breta\u00f1a, Alemania y Jap\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><strong>M\u00e9xico, en el top 5 de pa\u00edses con m\u00e1s crecimiento anual en e-commerce<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">Mientras la Asociaci\u00f3n Mexicana de Internet reporta que el e-commerce en M\u00e9xico alcanz\u00f3 un valor de 405 mil millones de pesos en 2018, Statista pronostica que entre el 2018 y el 2022 M\u00e9xico ser\u00e1 uno de los pa\u00edses con mayor crecimiento compuesto anual con un 12.6%, por encima de otros pa\u00edses de la regi\u00f3n como Argentina (11.4%) y Brasil con un 10.7%.<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">M\u00e9xico solo es superado por la India (19.9%), Indonesia (17.7%) y Sud\u00e1frica (13.7%). Adem\u00e1s de los ya mencionados, Turqu\u00eda (12%), China (12%), Argentina, Arabia Saudita (11.3%), Brasil y Espa\u00f1a (9.1%) complementan el top 10.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">El optimismo respecto al crecimiento del e-commerce en M\u00e9xico tambi\u00e9n encuentra sustento en un reporte generado por la Asociaci\u00f3n Mexicana de Ventas Online, que muestra un cambio en los racionales que llevan a los usuarios mexicanos a comprar en l\u00ednea, dando cada vez menor relevancia al precio para concentrarse en condiciones propias del negocio, como la comodidad de recibir las compras a domicilio (62%), ahorrar tiempo (61%), comparar y evaluar precios antes de comprar (60%), y la posibilidad de encontrar productos que no est\u00e1n disponibles en tiendas f\u00edsicas
