Otra vez el mundo de Amazon contra el mundo de Alibaba. En China, ser soltero es un gran negocio, cuando menos para Jack Ma y su empresa. Cada 11 de noviembre, d\u00eda en que se celebra el Single\u2019s Day, Alibaba supera sus propias marcas, como pas\u00f3 en el 2019 cuando cerr\u00f3 el d\u00eda con 30 mil millones de d\u00f3lares en ventas, ingresos superiores a los del Cyber Monday y el Black Friday juntos.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es el Single\u2019s Day?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">&#8211; Un invento mercadol\u00f3gico creado por Alibaba en 2009 para hacer negocio a trav\u00e9s de la solter\u00eda<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">&#8211; En su primera edici\u00f3n report\u00f3 ocho millones de d\u00f3lares de ganancias. En 2017, 25 mil millones de d\u00f3lares. Y en el 2019, m\u00e1s de 38 mil millones de d\u00f3lares<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">&#8211; En un principio, los compradores eran solteros que celebraban su independencia, pero la influencia de la fecha ha sido tal que tener una relaci\u00f3n en pareja o no, ha dejado de ser un impedimento para comprar durante el 11\/11<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">&#8211; Si el Telet\u00f3n utiliza la televisi\u00f3n para levantar dinero, el Single\u2019s Day tambi\u00e9n genera transmisiones ininterrumpidas tanto en televisi\u00f3n como en plataformas sociales, pero en vez de incentivar causas sociales, presenta a grandes personalidades llamando a adquirir productos<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">&#8211; En la edici\u00f3n 2019 del Single\u2019s Day, Kim Kardashian anunci\u00f3 a trav\u00e9s de livestream que su fragancia KKW estar\u00eda a la venta en TMall, propiedad de Alibaba, adem\u00e1s de haber contado con la presencia de Taylor Swift<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">&#8211; Durante el Single\u2019s Day, Ali Pay, la plataforma de pagos de Alibaba, registra m\u00e1s de 256 mil transacciones por segundo\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 tan grande es comparado con el Cyber Monday, el Black Friday y San Valent\u00edn?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">Mientras que el Black Friday cerr\u00f3 su edici\u00f3n 2019 con 7.4 mil millones de d\u00f3lares en ventas y el Cyber Monday 9.4 mil millones de d\u00f3lares, la suma de ambos (16.8 mil millones de d\u00f3lares) no representa ni la mitad de lo vendido en el Single\u2019s Day (38 mil millones de d\u00f3lares)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">El d\u00eda de San Valent\u00edn en Estados Unidos tambi\u00e9n pierde ante el Single\u2019s Day, pero lo hace por menor margen. Registrar\u00e1, de acuerdo a la National Retail Federation, ventas de 27 mil 400 millones de d\u00f3lares, 11 mil millones por debajo de lo generado por el d\u00eda del soltero en China\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><strong>Las peculiaridades de San Valent\u00edn\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">&#8211; De acuerdo a ese mismo reporte, el aumento no tiene que ver con la compra de regalos para parejas, que de hecho ha bajado de un 15% a un 20% con respecto al 2010, m\u00e1s bien se relaciona con el aumento de tres puntos porcentuales (de 3 a 6%) en la compra de regalos para mascotas, para compa\u00f1eros de clases de los ni\u00f1os (4 a 7%) y de cuatro puntos en la categor\u00eda de compa\u00f1eros de trabajo (3 a 7%)\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">&#8211; Finder, por su parte, reporta otra tendencia que atenta contra el concepto cl\u00e1sico de amor. Seg\u00fan sus datos, un 35% de hombres y un 21.03% de mujeres comprar\u00e1n regalos para m\u00e1s de una pareja sentimental<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">&#8211; Esa tendencia tiene a la generaci\u00f3n Y como su m\u00e1xima representante con un 36.46% mientras que la generaci\u00f3n Z ocupa el segundo lugar con un 32.54%\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">&#8211; En cuanto a las opciones elegidas para realizar una compra, Amazon ocupa el segundo lugar con un 37.43%, solo superado por tiendas brick-and-mortar que registran 39.96%. Otras tiendas online marcan 7.37%.<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><strong>La derrama econ\u00f3mica de San Valent\u00edn en M\u00e9xico\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">En M\u00e9xico, Cupido puede m\u00e1s que los Reyes Magos. De acuerdo a la Confederaci\u00f3n de C\u00e1maras Nacionales de Comercio, Servicios y Turismo (CONCANACO SERVYTUR), San Valent\u00edn generar\u00e1 una derrama econ\u00f3mica de 22 mil 804 millones de pesos, cifra superior a los 17 mil 500 millones de pesos del D\u00eda de Reyes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">La industria hotelera es la m\u00e1s beneficiada por el D\u00eda de San Valent\u00edn con un 3.9% de aumento<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">Le siguen sitios de entretenimiento como cines, parques de diversiones y teatros, con un 3.7%, as\u00ed como restaurantes, cafeter\u00edas y bares con un 3.6%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">Pese a su victoria frente a los Reyes Magos, San Valent\u00edn es derrotado por el D\u00eda de la Madre, que genera m\u00e1s de 47 mil millones de pesos, y el D\u00eda del Padre, que registr\u00f3 una derrama de m\u00e1s de 25 mil millones de
